    Very good barbecue. The service was good. Chloe was our server and she was excellent. I would have given 5 stars, but it was hotter than hell inside the restaurant. I'm sure it had to be uncomfortable for the wait staff cause it was so hot and we were just sitting still. Stop trying to save a dime and turn the air on!

    For my money's worth, The Smoke Pit is a top BBQ spot. The portions are large, the prices more than reasonable. Often busy, the staff does a great job of keeping up with waits during peak hours. Fantastic brisket, turkey and chicken are paired with great sides. Humongous salads and good deserts finish out the menu that keeps it simple. Highly recommend.

    I had the stock market sandwich, mac & cheese, side salad, and fried pickles. All were tasty. The service could have been a bit better and the A/C was out, which made it a bit warm in the restaurant. However, the food was delivered in a reasonable amount of time and presented well. They also have 1/2 a dozen BBQ sauces to choose from so everyone should be able to find one that they like. I'll be back.

    Good food and good service. The sauces are very good and the potato salad is awesome. Did not care as much for the white slaw but it wasn't bad.

    No Cornbread available and Undercooked runny beans on a Saturday night. My husband and I have been coming to the Smoke Pit for many years...started in the Concord location. We decided to have our date night there. We ordered cornbread and waited 25min to no avail. Husband also ordered the banana pudding and didn't finish it..yucky...he was not pleased. We wont give up on the Smoke Pit...hopefully it was just a bad night.
